Sudden Moves is an accomplished writer and director.

Sudden Moves is celebrated for his feature debut The Man Who Shook the Hand of Vicente Fernández, starring Academy Award winner Ernest Borgnine in his final on‑screen performance alongside Academy Award nominee June Squibb.

He has also directed numerous music videos for major labels including Sub Pop, Def Jam, Sony Music. His space opera Out Of This World was featured by New Filmmakers LA and HollyShorts, which can now be seen on DUST (Gunpowder & Sky) with 63,000+ views and counting.

Serving as an executive producer, Sudden Moves was proud to be involved in 'Run Amok', a musical satire about gun violence in high schools. The feature film premiered in competition at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and stars Patrick Wilson, Molly Ringwald, and Margret Cho.
